Town Planner Job in Crawley
Town Planner job available to join a legal 100 firm based from their office in Crawley.
My client is looking to speak to Graduate Planners or Town Planners to join the planning team in West Sussex which currently consists of three Chartered Planners, two Partners, a Planning Solicitor and a Paralegal. The real estate division over the business consists of Circa 100 staff, and the total head count of the firm is around 300 spread across five offices in the South East.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Planning team, Planning Lawyers, Architects and Surveyors
- Build and develop new and existing relationships for new business
- Assist others in the team when required
- Assist in the preparation of planning applications and supporting information, including planning supporting statements
- Lodge planning appeals and prepare planning appeal statements/proofs, including attendance at hearings and inquiries
- Site visits and appraisals
- Keep up to date with the development plans for local authorities in the South East and London.
Required Skills & Experience
- Good knowledge of the Planning process
- Commercial aware
- Experience working for a consultancy would be an advantage
- Good geographical knowledge of the South East.
