Town Planner Job in Leicester
Town Manager job: This is an opportunity for a Town Planner or Senior Planner to join a top 10 house builder from their regional office in Leicester.
This national house builder is looking for various town planning candidates to join this growing office in Leicester. As the successful Town Planner, you'll be part of the busy planning team working on a variety of immediate and strategic sites handling the planning applications as well as mentoring members of the team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the planning applications
- Support the Planning Manager
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure planning applications are prepared properly and in accordance with local authority requirements
- Manage all Section 106 agreements
- Keep updated on local and national planning policy changes
- Provide planning reports for each development
Required Skills & Experience
- Ideally educated to a degree level of a relevant course
- Experienced with planning for residential developments
- Previously worked for a housebuilder (not essential)
- Ideally 2+ years in Town Planning
