STA ASSURE DIRECTOR POSITION
ARV Solutions are helping promote this role on behalf of The Structural Timber Association (in which we are members).
The structural timber industry continues to go from strength to strength with timber being increasingly specified as the preferred structural component of choice for a diverse range of building types. To help customers and specifiers realise the benefits of structural timber systems, the STA has implemented the STA Assure Membership and Quality Standards Scheme and is looking to appoint a STA Assure Director to lead the development and implementation of the programme.
The structural timber industry is going through an exciting period of change and considerable market growth underpinned by considerable technical investment to advance the adoption of structural timber. The STA Assure Director will adopt a senior position within the STA working with our members to continue the focus on technical excellence in our industry. Working collaboratively with industry stakeholders, the STA Assure Director will be responsible for defining the standards required by STA Assure for both existing and emerging markets and will promote the benefits of adopting STA Assure to specifiers, industry stakeholders and customers.

As the UK's leading organisation representing the structural timber sector and associated supply chain companies, the STA has an objective to drive quality and product innovation through expert technical guidance and research - underpinned by education, training and event programmes. The STA represents over 600 businesses who operate across the timber construction industry including suppliers, manufacturers, erectors and designers.
STA Assure
The STA Assure Membership and Quality Standards Scheme, is designed to benefit both clients and members by providing reassurances and promoting the differing accreditations and quality standards held by individual STA member companies. This scheme has received formal recognition from seven of the industry's leading structural warranty and building control bodies - NHBC, LABC Warranty, Premier Guarantee, Protek Warranty, Build-Zone Warranty, Self-Build Zone Warranty and ABC+ Warranty.
