Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 + Car + 26 days' annual leave + bank holidays + Benefits

Due to expanding design remit, furnishing both planned and reactive traffic management design. we are recruiting a Traffic Management Designer to work alongside an established design team of two designers, based in the South-East Region (Area 3&4), to provide safe and compliant traffic management design for invested parties across the South-East Strategic Road Network.
Key Responsibilities
The Traffic Management Designer will take a lead role in a traffic management design meetings and site visits in order to create safe and compliant traffic management. Assist Line Manager with traffic management forums, meetings, and seminars. Proactively explore cost savings and efficiencies for the benefit of all invested parties i.e., innovations, methodologies etc. Liaise with invested parties on matters of traffic management design requirements and solutions. Take part on a rostered out of hours traffic management design function in order to provide a complete package of traffic management design support.

What do we need from you?
- Institute of Highways Engineer TTME (Foundation Minimum)
- Traffic Safety Supervisor (TSS) or Traffic Safety Control Officer (TSCO)
- Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
- NHSS 12D M7
- Have a broad knowledge of traffic management legislation (TSRGD DMRB) Guidance (Chapter 8)
- IT literacy
- AutoCAD/Cone 11 Software experience
