Kier Strategic Highways have an excellent opportunity for a General Operative to join our Strategic Highways contract.

Kier Highways design roads, bridges and intelligent transport systems (ITS), covering strategic and nationally important roads, as well as local roads serving local communities.

Kier are looking to hire a General Operative (Traffic Management) in Winchester. The Flexible approach, ensuring all work complies with relevant Safety, Health and Environmental legislation, high-quality of work delivered within strict timescales and represent Kier in a professional manner in both appearance and attitude will be vital for the role.

The required skills/experience are:
  • 12ab Lantra traffic management trained
  • Basic Lantra VRS qualification
  • LGV driving licence group "C" minimum.
  • Asset Management Awareness - operational level required
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Experience and knowledge of strict H&S operations and its practical implications
