We're looking for a Traffic Management Operations Manager based in the Midlands to provide Operational Management of projects from concept through to delivery, overseeing both internal and external teams to ensure a high level of service is provided and maintained throughout. Working collaboratively with invested stakeholders ranging from National Highways as the client, Supply-Chain Partners, and road users. Location: Midlands - remote working available, where you will be based out of our Retford office with home working available and some travel to other offices and sites

Contract: Permanent, Fulltime

Salary: £52k

Responsibilities

As an Operations Manager you'll provide management support for both the creation of safe and compliant traffic management design and safe and compliant traffic management operational delivery and take an active role in both internal and external safety audits/inspections - Internal compliance/ NHSS

Your day to day will include:
  • chair cross party meetings related to traffic management design and delivery. Work alongside SHEA team to promote and maintain a safe environment in line with legislation, regulation, and business standards
  • work alongside the Commercial Manager to create and validate service quotations and cost estimates, proactively explore cost savings and efficiencies for the benefit of all invested parties
  • facilitate the liaison of relevant teams both design and operationally to enable traffic management collaboration and pathway to solution.

  • have a broad knowledge of traffic management legislation (TSRGD DMRB) Guidance (Chapter 8)
  • experience in a similar role
  • demonstrate strong customer centric behaviours to build relationships across the customer and works community
