Job Title: Traffic Management Supervisor

Salary: £35k - £42k + Car + Pension + 26 days annual leave + Benefits
Due to the expanding traffic management remit, furnishing the following contracts with both planned and reactive traffic management supervision: SDF - South East & Midlands, RDP Schemes - A417, HS2 ECW - Midlands, we are now recruiting four Traffic Management Supervisors to join our Highways to provide first level supervision of both internal and external operations, oversee the day-to-day functions of the delivery of traffic management and ensure a high level of service is maintained throughout. Work closely with all other teams within Kier and our supply chain to ensure that the delivery of traffic management is carried out Safely, to programme and budgetary requirements. This role will involve working nights when required and also some travel staying away overnight to meet the delivery of the works.
Key Responsibilities
The Traffic Management Supervisor will work to instruction from the Operations Manager, ensuring all traffic management is installed, maintained, and removed in accordance with Chapter 8 and scheme drawings. Working safely always complying with site rules and permitting regulations and representing Kier Highways in a professional manner at all times.
What do we need from you?
- Have a broad knowledge of traffic management legislation (TSRGD DMRB) Guidance (Chapter 8)
- Previous experience in traffic management operations (High Speed)
- Previous experience in highways maintenance
- Competent in traffic Management design and implementation.
- Excellent people management skills
- Clean valid UK Drivers Licence
- NHSS 12 A/B & D
- First Aid Training
- TSCO
- SSSTS
- A company car or allowance of £4,500p.a
