Traffic Survey Technician - Old Street, London - Full Time - Permanent

We're looking for a Traffic Survey Technician in London! This role will require van travel and working with surveying equipment.

They are a forward-thinking company that embraces innovation and change, with a core focus on sustainability in every approach. Based in Old Street, in a modern office, they are a circa 50 strong, dynamic team of experts, that want to welcome you, a Traffic Survey Technician to the team!

They provide a wide range of client services including:

  • Parking Occupancy Counts
  • Automatic Traffic Counts
  • Classified Camera Counts
  • CCTV / ANPR surveys

They have been operating for over four years and have seen organic and steady growth in the UK. They are currently looking for a permanent site technician to install equipment. The type of work required is:

  • Physical installation of traffic equipment on street;
  • The use of power tools including drills;
  • Installing independent battery powered CCTV cameras on lamp columns, involving climbing ladders;
  • Understanding and reading maps;
  • Driving a small van provided for jobs;
  • Must be happy to travel around;
  • Will require some late night evening work to avoid the busy daytime hours (although very infrequent);
  • Computer literacy to download data captured on-street


The role will be explained in more detail to those candidates who express an interest and training provided.
Licence/Certification:

  • CSCS (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (required)
