About the role as a Trainee HGV Poling operative
We are currently recruiting for Trainee HGV Poling Operatives to work as part of a 2-man gang. Upon completion of an intense training programme, you will be responsible for planting, replacing, dressing, and maintaining telegraph poles within the openreach overhead network.

Full training will be provided! As your training progresses you will be fully accredited in all the required qualifications to work on the openreach overhead telegraph pole network, all qualifications recorded on your personal Smart Awards card (That we will pay for!).
All tools, vehicles and clothing will be provided to enable you to work safely and to the highest quality standards in the openreach network.
As a Trainee Poling operative you will be fully supported in your early career from highly qualified supervisors and operatives in the role you are undertaking.

What we need from you?
No experience required as we will provide you with full training lasting approximately 6 weeks including "on the job training". All we ask is that you have the right attitude and a "can do" approach to getting the job done on behalf of our customer.
- You will need to hold a full CAT C HGV driving licence with less than 3 points
- You will be required to hold a Driver CPC with a minimum of 6 months remaining on the qualification.
- You will be required to have a digital tachograph card.
- You will enjoy working as part of a team, outside in all weather conditions rather than being stuck behind a desk
