We're looking for Training and Compliance Coordinator to join our Transportation team based in Ower, Romsey. Location: Ower, Romsey - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Salary: Up to £30k + 26 days of annual leave + Benefits



Responsibilities

As a Training and Compliance Coordinator, you'll be working within the Training and Compliance Team, supporting them in ensuring compliance is achieved through providing support to any activities required within the team. Such as assist projects, as well as enhancing collaborative business relationships. Ensuring contract employees are safe, legal and have the correct skills and qualifications for the role they are carrying out. Maximising the effective way training is booked and ensure we upskill our supply chain.

Your day to day will include:

  • Ensure that compliance training is delivered to people across the contract in the most cost effective and efficient way, to the highest standards utilising the contract trainer and with contracts in the region.
  • Ensure our safety culture is embedded with the supply chain and help drive through Highways Passport and also them getting involved in training.
  • Assisting with engagement sessions with the advisors on the contract to help employees see the development opportunities for them.
  • To carry out day to day duties relating to the co-ordination of training requirements including the maintaining of the training database and collating all training information.
  • Champion the wellbeing within the team and ensure that an inclusive workplace where diversity of thought, backgrounds and experience is actively encouraged and achieved.
