Training and Resources Manager - Safe & Together
Respect are looking for a highly organised training and resources manager with a passion for developing and managing systems to support training, events and other resources.
The Safe & Together model is designed to improve responses to domestic abuse within Children's Social Care settings.
This internationally recognised model has been implemented through a partnership between Respect and the London Boroughs of Waltham Forest and Hackney for almost two years; the London Safe and Together Partnership is a 'systems change' approach that combines workforce development with consultation and training to support Children's Social Care professionals to engage more successfully with domestic abuse perpetrators, and ultimately to improve outcomes for adult and child survivors of domestic abuse and reduce the rate of re-referrals.
The East London partnership is now expanding to the London Boroughs of Newham, Tower Hamlets and Redbridge, and we are seeking to appoint a Training and Resources Manager who will:
- Coordinate the booking and associated administration of Overview and CORE trainings, and any other Safe and Together events/forums
- Advertise and coordinate other relevant trainings across the partnership, to support children's social care professionals in responding to - and engaging with - domestic abuse perpetrators
- Manage a marketplace of domestic abuse perpetrator interventions which can be spot-purchased by all of the boroughs who are participating in the London Safe and Together Partnership
- Assist with the development of a toolkit for children's social care professionals
- Support the Safe and Together Project Manager and Implementation Leads with communications, administration and other training and resources-related activities, as appropriate.
NB: Respect are also implementing the Safe and Together approach in 5 further London Boroughs, as part of another partnership; it is anticipated that the Training and Resources Manager will support relevant training and other activities across both partnerships where necessary.
More information about Respect's work with Safe & Together can be found on our careers page.
