Job Title: Training Coordinator

Location: Wymondham, Norfolk

Business area: Kier Utilities - Training Hub

Contract / Hours: Permanent- Full Time

We are now recruiting for a Training Coordinator to join our team in Wymondham to provide an organised and methodical approach to the administration team. Working with training hub colleagues to plan and utilise the training plan effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver an admin service for the courses delivered at the centre ensuring dates are planned in and agreed by regional L&D admins and line management. You will also ensure the course materials are prepared, all training is recorded on training database and issue all relevant certification.
  • Deliver admin support for the Training Team, liaise with training providers and managing the CITB account.
  • Manage the training centre calendar for non-training course activities including audits, tool testing, PPE and any external training where required.
  • Raising purchase orders for training ensuring cross charges for training are aligned to the correct contract/department.
What do we need from you?

  • Experience of working in an L&D function within the Construction/Utilities Sector, along with demonstratable knowledge of SHE and compliance training requirements as relevant to business units supported.
  • Able to work to strict deadlines and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and concern for quality to provide information accurately and in timely manner.
  • CITB admin experience is desirable along with knowledge and experience of learning support functions would also be advantageous .
