We're currently recruiting for a Training Co-ordinator to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks training team to provide an organised and methodical approach to the business units L&D support function. Working with customers to plan and utilise the training plan effectively.

Experience of working in an L&D function within the Construction/Utilities Sector preferable, along with demonstratable knowledge of SHE and compliance training requirements as relevant to business units supported.

Key Responsibilities

In this Training Co-ordinator role, you will

  • Provide a training admin & co-ordination service to area of responsibility
  • Identify and respond to customer needs and ensure customer service is effective and meets requirements
  • Support in the maintenance of the training matrix, ensuring information is correct/updated in a timely manner
  • · Maintain and update training plans which support business objectives, meet legislative requirements, and maximise employee capability and provide a future talent

  • Working with Line Managers, Subject Matter Experts and Training Support Managers to source appropriate L&D solutions based on training plan requirements, ad-hoc requests, and development training, ensuring the appropriate approval is received
  • Co-ordinate, monitor and record attendance/non-attendance for all courses (including Toolbox talks and briefings in training databases to feed into management reporting and funding claims
  • Manage the PO process for training booked, log, scan & issue certificates in-line with internal/external bookings process




  • What we are looking for

    · Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, including invoices and budgets

  • Demonstrable knowledge of working within an L&D administrative function
  • Understanding of reporting requirements and escalation procedures
  • Ability to confidentially manage employee data
  • · Experience in providing accurate data and reporting
