Breedon are currently seeking a Transactions Supervisor, to join our Credit Control team based in Lockington, near Derby. Supervising a small and target oriented team, the Transactions Supervisor oversees their day to day activities, ensuring all transactional processes and controls are delivered within agreed KPIs and team morale is maintained.

The role includes problem solving, reconciliations, process management and team building. You will be working as part of a large and vibrant department in a growing Plc, which has a strong focus on its people.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Apply the Breedon values; "show you care, make it happen, strive to improve, keep it simple"
  • Monitoring ongoing processes: invoicing, crediting, cash allocation
  • Monitoring of controls and checks
  • Unallocated cash KPI Reporting
  • Overseeing Direct debit collections
  • Complex account reconciliations
  • Bad debt write-off
  • Internal audit
  • Monthly KPI reporting
  • Guidance and support to the Transactional team
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Implement departmental policies, procedures and quality/service standards.
  • Cover for team sickness and holidays
  • Ensuring month-end deadlines are met
  • Liaising with Management and wider team with issues / progress / processes

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A proven track record for reliability and outstanding performance in a supervisory role would be advantageous.
  • A strong background in finance is essential, and will know instinctively how to organise a team.
