Barker Ross are recruiting for a Transport Administrator in the Solihull Area based on a 6 month temporary contract, 40 hours and rate of £13.50p/hr, to actively build & maintain working relationships with Hauliers & Customers, ensuring exceptional customer service regarding incoming orders at all times.

Main Responsibilities of the position will include (but not limit to);

  • Accurately take order information and input onto internal systems.
  • Respond positively & confidently to our customers' requirements.
  • Schedule & Ensure timely delivery of customers' orders.
  • Monitor and Maintain real time progress of orders to identify potential problems and proactively resolve and issues.
  • Assist with other teams in day to day management of drivers.

Successful Candidates for this position must have;

  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Good IT Knowledge (SAP Experience Advantageous)
  • Previous Experience in Distribution
  • Problem Solver
  • Ability to Prioritise Workload
  • Calm & Controlled Under Pressure
  • Current Driving License and Own Vehicle
