Are you a skilled CAD Technician with a passion for transport and highways design? Join a dynamic and growing consultancy based in Cambridge, known for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across the UK.
I'm looking for a Transport & Highways CAD Technician to support my client's expanding workload. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative and flexible working environment, with a strong pipeline of projects, providing Technician support to the Transport Planning and Highways Engineering design teams.


What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing technical design drawings using AutoCAD, including swept path analysis and vehicle tracking.
  • Supporting engineers in the design of highways, transport infrastructure, and public realm projects
  • Working closely with the wider team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of drawings and models
  • Assisting with planning applications and design submissions

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience in a similar CAD Technician role within highways/transport infrastructure
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and a collaborative working style
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
