Transport Planner Job in Nottingham

I have a Transport Planner job available with a rapidly growing employee-owned multi-disciplinary consultancy in their office in Nottingham. As the successful Transport Planner, you'll be tasked with supporting on larger projects within the transport planning team in the region, as well as managing your own smaller projects.

Established 30 years ago, this multi-disciplinary consultancy operates across the UK with 8 regional offices which are situated in the North West, Yorkshire, Midlands, South West, East Anglia and London. Current head count is at 70 but with the growth plans in place, and their current workload, they are looking to expand the business in the next 12 months. The services this consultancy offer span across town planning, architecture, master planning, landscape architecture and heritage.

Role & Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation of transport assessments / travel plans
- Analyse transport impacts of new developments
- Contributing to the planning and design of new transport schemes
- Liaising with third party suppliers
- Liaise with other internal teams
- Support directors in the team.


Required Skills & Experience

- Relevant degree
- Previous experience in the private sector
- Experience using ARCADY, PICADY, TRICS, AutoCAD and Excel.
