We are working with a fantastic college in Northamptonshire who are looking for a temporary Lecturer to cover Travel & Tourism for the remainder of this academic year. The hours of week teaching required are 25.5 hours however the timetable is still to be confirmed. The college are offering an hourly rate of between £20 - £25 per hour plus holiday pay and are looking to interview immediately!

Role responsibilities
Teaching Travel & Tourism at levels 1 -3.
Assessing learners' needs
Planning and preparing teaching and learning programmes for groups and individuals
Developing and using a range of teaching and learning techniques.
Managing the learning process, including appropriate administrative functions relevant to the curriculum area.
Providing learners with support, to the degree required by the curriculum area and in agreement with the HoS of the detailed extent
Assessing the outcomes of learning and learners' achievements.
Reflecting upon and evaluating one's own performance and planning future practice.
Meeting professional policy, administrative and liaison requirements.
Lecturers may act as personal tutors, course tutors, internal verifiers, mark substantial amounts of written work, co-ordinate course tutors lead on Curriculum Development initiatives.


The person & qualifications
Must have a DBS on the update service or applied for
A level 3 related qualification
A teaching qualification
Experience teaching Travel & Tourism at levels 1 -3.
