Our client is on the look out for a Tutor in Employability/Customer service/Digital Skills.

You will be covering Medway Kent area.

Role Overview
As a Tutor/Trainer you will be responsible for:
*Deliver an AEB contract, teaching, learning, assessment to learners in line with Ofsted, ESFA, commissioners and requirements.
*This will be classroom based with some online delivery
*Maintain a caseload of up to 40 funded learners
*Ensure a minimum of 85% of learners achieve their qualification/apprenticeship in a timely manner
*Contribute to on-going development of curriculum design & delivery
*Effectively engage, build relationships and understand employer's requirements.

Role Responsibilities
Teaching, Learning and Assessment
*Carry out teaching, learning & assessment sessions for the unemployed looking to seek employment across Kent.
*Support and coach learners through their vocational training, Functional Skills of maths and English and employability support as applicable
*Produce high quality learning materials, deliver workshops and blended learning as required. These will be a blend of face to face and remote sessions
*Inspire and motivate your learners to develop their Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
*Undertake appropriate learning & development activities as required for the role
*Liaising with the learner and their line manager to ensure that your training is tailored to the specific needs of the learner and the organisation.
*Actively promote and deliver Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Prevent Policies.
*Liaise with employers to undertake enrichment session where relevant and identify how else we can support the up skilling of their workforce.
Administration and Reporting
*Adhere to compliance regulations in line with ESFA and other funder requirements
*Adhere to Ofsted EIF requirements
*Meet as a minimum the KPI target agreed at performance reviews on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
*Plan effective delivery of learning at different employer sites, that could include prisons
*Completion of portfolios in a timely manner for interim and summative verification
*Using e portfolios, VLE, MIS and other digitally based systems
*Work with the Internal Quality Assurer/Quality Manager to ensure the quality standards are exceeded Communication
*Communicate with your line manager to give regular updates on learner progress and identify 'at risk' learners/sites, and produce an action plan
*Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.
Role Criteria
Essential -
*Minimum of 2 years relevant occupational experience
*Working to targets
*Delivering qualifications (funded, LARs)
*Using e portfolio systems
*Qualifications Maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent
*ICT skills, particularly MS products, MIS systems
*Personal Attributes Resilience - Positive, enthusiastic approach to problem solving with a "can do" attitude
*Adaptability - Can work flexibly and with adaptability
*A1 Assessor qualification
*Commitment to the vision and values of the Forward Trust

Desirable -
*Good working knowledge and experience of ESFA, devolved authority for funding
*A full, clean driving licence and access to a car, which can be used in carrying out the requirements of the role or willing to use public transport
*A Level 4 and above Education and Training (FE/vocational training) qualification
*Member of the IEP/ETF Institute for Learning or other as appropriate
