Associated Builders and Contractor's Analysis of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data reports a decline in construction sector jobs. According to the analysis there was a decline in 31,000 net new jobs in February and the overall nonresidential employment reduced by 20,400 net new positions when compared to January. The year-over-year basis, unemployment is 1.6 percentage points lower and dropped slightly to 6.2 percent.
