Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Undertaking responsibilities of the Buried Services Coordinator
Providing all asset known registers and up to date drawings of all services
Ensuring all trial hole records are available to the project managers and subcontractors
Implementation and involvement in the auditing of the Quality Assurance systems
Production of quality assurance information regarding utilities for inclusion in the construction records
Development of ITPs for utilities, ensuring they correctly interpret the specified quality requirements
Marking up drawings and specifications with any changes, referencing the documentation that verifies the change.
Carrying out as-built surveys for a section of the works and presentation of results in a format that can be incorporated into project records and reporting
Interpret and abstract construction information from the drawings and specifications and provides this to sub-contractors and direct work supervisors/operatives in a clear and understandable format.
Value engineering to determine the best solution for engineering issues where possible
Keep daily records of works on site, meetings, interfaces, and conversations with all stakeholders
Co-ordination and collaboration with HS2 staff and contractors alike.
Skills & Experience:
A Degree, Bachelors, MSc or HND in Civil Engineering
Analysing service drawings
Experience working for a main contractor
Managing PAS128 ground penetrating radar surveys
Experience issuing permits, especially permit to dig and maintain records/registers
CSCS qualification
Basic site paperwork
