Forming a ground breaking partnership in 2015 Kier Utilities have been working with Thames Water, maintaining essential service at the heart of daily life, health and enjoyment to 15 million customers across London and the Thames Valley

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Supervisor, who will report to the Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating operational process and personnel to deliver safe, efficient and effective service delivery

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the performance of all Supervisors within the contract area and to be fully mobile within that area whilst remaining compliant with all aspects of Health & Safety and other legislation, recording and escalating issues and risks accordingly
  • Meet and operational targets that are set to deliver an effective and efficient service to the client
  • Advise, coach and support operations staff using structured performance management systems, as required
  • Review operations services, prepare reports and provide analysis of operational outcomes and identify opportunities to achieve efficiencies
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times, reporting any incident or hazard in the workplace and taking H&S advice where appropriate
  • Control costs within the parameter of the role and mentor employees, giving guidance, coach and instruction as and when needed

    • Skills and experience required:
    • A good understanding and experience of the Utility/ Construction environment
    • IOSH qualification
    • Experience and passion for leading teams and developing team member's skills and career paths
    • Approachable and transparent way of working which will add value to the team's activities.
