We're looking for a Utilities Trainer to join our team based in the South West. Within this role we will provide you with a company car or cash allowance for travel. You can enjoy progression opportunities, and the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects of all sizes and complexities

Location: Exeter, Devon- with some home working available and travel to other sites and offices

Contract: Permanent, full time

Responsibilities

Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected.

In this role, you will be working on our Utilities frameworks in the South West by helping produce and deliver training material for both water and energy operatives.

Your day to day will include:


  • Prepare, open, run and close a training session meeting minimum standards
  • Accountable for the performance of training your deliver. Feedback must be sought at the end of each session and a measure of learning transfer will be captured
  • Drive the cultural shift for Learning & Development across the business by promoting and supporting learning & driving traffic through the internal training page
Who are we looking for?

This role of Utilities Trainer is great for you if:

  • You hold experience within the utilities industry, particularly water & energy sectors
  • Are able to demonstrate the ability to measure competence both in the classroom and on site
  • A willingness to travel as training is delivered from multiple locations throughout the South-west, so a Full Driving Licence is needed, with a company car or cash allowance provided
