The Sheffield College is an anchor institution in the city of Sheffield and the local economy. We play a significant role equipping students with the skills to go further in their careers and meet the needs of employers.

We are the largest provider of Apprenticeships across the Sheffield City Region and our provision has grown significantly over recent years to over £7m of income and over 2800 apprenticeship learners in learning.

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Senior Leadership Team as Vice Principal - Apprenticeships and Work Based Learning, and are looking for someone who will provide outstanding leadership for the College's apprenticeship and work based learning provision ensuring a high quality learner experience which leads to outstanding achievement, progression and employability outcomes for all learners.

Reporting to the Executive Director Commercial and Operations, the successful candidate will be at the forefront of driving innovation in apprenticeship training and continuous improvement of delivery and quality of provision. You will also be integral to developing the overall College's strategy for apprenticeship and work based learning provision both regionally and nationally including reviewing operating models and developing strategic partnerships.

You will have extensive recent experience of working in the apprenticeship and work based learning sector, be that in a College or large Independent Training Provider environment. You must be able to evidence a proven track record of managing and developing high quality apprenticeship provision that delivers successful outcomes, the continuous raising of standards and the implementation of a positive culture of high aspirations to improve the learning experience of all apprentices.
