Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and implement the long-term strategy for global data center operations.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align data center capabilities with business growth, digital transformation, and customer requirements.
  • Evaluate new technologies, vendors, and innovations to optimize operations.

Operational Management

  • Lead the end-to-end management of all data center facilities, including construction, maintenance, power, cooling, and physical security.
  • Oversee 24/7 operational support and incident management for mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, uptime requirements, and performance metrics.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of operations managers, facilities engineers, and support staff across multiple sites.
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability.

Financial & Capacity Planning

  • Develop and manage multi-million-dollar operational and capital budgets.
  • Forecast future infrastructure needs and lead capacity planning efforts to ensure scalability.
  • Optimize costs through strategic sourcing, vendor negotiation, and energy efficiency initiatives.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Establish security policies and protocols for physical and logical access control.
