+£1.80 p/h after 6pm / +£1.50 p/h weekend premium - if applicable

We are recruiting for Warehouse operative to work with an important company in the Hams Hall area. Fantastic opportunities with immediate starts in Hams Hall for a leading supermarket retailer, working in 0-4 degree temperature, the role involves using a hand scanner to pick and process customer orders. Some heavy lifting may be required. Previous picking experience is desirable but training is provided. Last year, over 70 colleagues received a permanent contract with our client. If you are looking for a long term opportunity with clear paths to permanent contracts, this job is for you!

Shift Patterns:

  • 6am - 2pm (must have own transport)
  • 2pm - 10pm

Pay Rates

  • £11.28 p/h (£13.08 p/h after 6pm)

As a warehouse operative you will need to have:

  • You must be physically able to lift goods up to 25kg
  • A good standard of verbal and written English
  • Good accuracy and organisational skills
  • Good numeracy skills
  • The ability to work to targets

Role of a Warehouse Operative:

  • Flexible and adaptable with multi skill training for long term workers
  • Working in a chilled environment picking into cages or pallets
  • The role includes some weekend working
