Title: Water Quality Tester / Water Hygiene Technician

Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire

Kier Utilities is looking to recruit an Water Quality Tester , who will report to the ­­­­Framework Manager. The successful post-holder will be responsible for overseeing the testing of water on pipeline renewal projects with Affinity Water.

Project

Kier have been awarded the design and build for Affinity Water's Trunk Mains programme incorporating Mains Rehab, Mitigations & Condition Assessments. The programme has an estimated value of 5m per year and is focused in Affinity Water's Central Region which is situated just outside the Northern and Eastern stretches of the M25 with some limited works in Affinity's Dover and Essex Regions. The programme is initially set for 4 years with a potential 4 year extension available.

We are seeking applicants for this opportunity who would want to work alongside what is a new and exciting client delivering works that have a real impact on the wider community. If you have the skills and want to work within a new and emerging framework please express your interest below.

Key Responsibilities:

· Water temperature monitoring
· Water sampling
· Disinfection of domestic water services
· Hygiene monitoring of water and air systems
· Carry out allocated service work within agreed time schedules, adhering to the company's health and safety policy and quality policy, and to the relevant industry guidelines and customer specifications
· Complete reports and paperwork
· Quality - Ensure compliance with QMS, documentation to be correct and current.
· Any other associated duties which may be requested from time to time.
