Work for a rapidly growing marine repairs & recycling specialist who are striving to become market leaders in their industry. They deliver ship repairs, surveys and refurbishments across the Thames. This position will suit a welder who is ready to take on new challenges and better their career within a sustainable and steady industry.
Responsibilities:
- Stick welding and fabrication on barges and vessels
- General plant operating and repairs when required
- Monday to Friday based role across Charlton and Gravesend bargeyard's (37.5 hr week)
Background Required:
- Industrial welding and fabrication experience
- Ship/barge repair experience advantageous
- Welding/Fabrication qualifications (NVQ/C&G/Apprenticeship)
