We're looking for a Works Scheduler / Co-ordinator to join our Utilities South West Water team. Within this role, you can progress your career in a fast-paced environment where there's room to grow. You will be part of a collaborative team environment, where training is provided.


Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected. In this role, you will be working on our South West Water contract, where we work on repairs and maintenance services to provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.


In the role of Works Scheduler / Coordinator, you will work closely with our site teams and Supervisor's based in Depots around Cornwall to obtain their ground works requirements. You will be responsible for the day to day planning of all resources and workstreams in the area, customer communication regarding planned and ongoing work as well as ensuring all business processes are followed whilst recording all necessary information in a timely manner.

Location: You will be based from one of our depots in either Bodmin, Plymouth or Exeter

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £20,000 -£24,500 dependant on experience


As a Works Scheduler / Coordinator your day to day will include:


Key Responsibilities

  • Deal with site queries to efficiently resolve issues
  • Liaise with Area planners and Local Management as required to effectively utilise resource
  • Keep systems and databases up to date at all times
  • Assist with scheduling and planning activities regarding planned and reactive work

  • Excellent IT skills alongside great time management
  • Be highly organised and enjoy multitasking
  • Enjoy picking up the phone, and working in a busy and fast-paced environment
  • If you don't have experience in a similar role, we'll train you on the rest!
