Workplace Strategist Job in New York

A Workplace Strategist job has become available with a leading architectural and design firm, based from their HQ in New York with occasional travel to other offices across the US. The role will see you work with clients at the early stages of the projects, understanding, researching, and planning the strategy behind their designs and future requirements; including the development of workplace strategy, change management, and workplace transformation.

This well-established architecture and design firm has been providing services to the commercial sectors for over 80 years. Projects range across workplace, healthcare, education, and aviation, to name a few. The team of 600+ are spread across 12 offices, within multiple states in the US, Asia, and Europe. This role will be based from their New York office in Midtown Manhattan, working on a full-time permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • To liaise with and work with clients throughout the early stages of design development
  • Research and conduct analysis of workplace trends/needs
  • Collect and understand workplace utilization statistics
  • Understand and keep up to date with industry-wide trends
  • Collaborate with the interior design team to develop strategies
  • Lead client engagements
  • Create and deliver interactive workshops/visioning sessions with employees and executives

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified in interior design or similar
  • 3+ years' experience in research, data collection, and interpretations
  • Prior experience liaising directly with clients
  • Experience managing and running workshops/interactive sessions
  • Experience in change management is highly desirable
