We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services, working on projects such as Strategic and Local Highways, and we're looking for a Works Controller/Scheduler to join our Highways team in Ipswich, Rougham and Halesworth

Key Responsibilities:

The Works Controller will review and accept reactive orders, ensuring consistency with the Highway Maintenance Operation Plan (HMOP) matrices, rejecting or amending any non-compliant requests with the relevant instigator whilst authorising compliant requests for efficient and cost-effective delivery. Co-ordinate and manage the effective deployment of staff to emergencies. Provide management of the service delivery centre control hub's Suffolk highways dashboard (on the Works Manager system).

We are seeking candidates who have:

  • Relevant Construction Skills/StreetWorks Supervisor certificate
