We are Kier, one of the UK's leading Construction and Infrastructure services, working on projects such as Hinkley Point C and Mogden Sewage Treatment Works. We are now recruiting for a Works Manager to join our Kier Infrastructure Major Projects team in Mogden to ensure the site works are carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with the prescribed contract, design, client and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting Works Manager role, you'll assist in the scope and objectives of the project and ensure construction operations are in accordance with the project requirements. You'll control the project schedule to ensure timely completion and stop any work if it is deemed unsafe to continue. You'll also ensure labour resources are utilised within the project where required and maintain records of daily site activities to monitor and track project progress.
What do we need from you?
A HNC or NVQ Level 2 qualified individual with previous Civil Engineering experience and demonstrable knowledge and application of Site Construction activities. You'll also have previous experience of managing site teams, subcontractors and operative staff.
