Yard Manager - REQUIRED!

The Company:
The company are a Building and Construction firm who are currently operating on several projects across the UK, including many large build concrete structure jobs. As a Yard Manager with the firm, you will be expected to carry out the organisation/day to day running of the yard, assisting with loading and unloading of materials, organising of transport to multiple sites, managing a small team of workers within the yard. As well as delivering of small tools and monitoring of the ins and outs of plant/equipment (via spreadsheets).

The Opportunity:
As a Yard Manager you will be based on the current site they have in Spalding on a full time, permanent basis. Candidates will be required to have a background in Building and Construction, specifically with experience managing construction yards.

The Role / Experience & Responsibilities:
The company are looking for a Yard Manager who wants to engage in long term work with the firm to help assist it with control and organisation. To be considered for the role, the following experience and certifications will be sought after:

  • MUST have driving licence and CPCS/NPORS Telehandler ticket
  • REQUIRED to have a background in Building and Construction
  • MUST have ability to get to the yard in Spalding
  • REQUIRED to wear Full PPE (hard hat, High Vis & Safety boots)
  • MUST have working reference
  • MUST have the right to work in the UK

This role is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established Building and Construction firm on an ongoing basis.

Pay:

Rate is negotiable based on experience and locality to Spalding. Will be looking within the range of £14.50 and £20.00 per hour.
