About the role:
Due to the expanding portfolio in Belgium, we are looking for a Key Account Manager.
Reporting directly to the Business Unit Director, as Key Account Manager you will work to maximise market share and revenue within the assigned product/market through proper management of the DMUs in hospitals.
Optimal relationship management, clear product portfolio promotion and understanding of market developments are key elements, with realisation of the revenue budget as the main responsibility.
Main responsibilities & duties:
- Relationship management: independently mapping, expanding and maintaining contacts with all relevant stakeholders
- Provide advice and service to customers: give information and presentations to customers or undertake other activities to show the added value of the product
- Deduct and translate scientific data in easy understandable core messages
- Carry out and proactively propose (marketing) activities that promote sales and the organisation as a whole
- Understanding, monitoring and reporting of relevant market developments to grow or protect the business
- Represent the organisation at (inter)national congresses and symposia
- Realisation of turnover budgets
About you:
- Bachelor's degree (life sciences discipline is desirable)
- Relevant experience in the following areas: cardiology, gynaecology, haematology, gastroenterology
- Ability to work cross-functionally and persuasively
- Commercial mindset
- Strong personality, passionate, pro-active and a real team player
- Fluent communication skills and excellent speaking and writing skills in Dutch and French.
- Good knowledge of English
