Key Responsibilities:
- Producing drawings and specifications for Electrical Building Services Systems
- Carrying out design calculations utilizing both manual and computer techniques
- Monitoring own design delivery for quality, program, and budget
- Liaising with other design department members to understand clients' requirements and select appropriate solutions, plant, and equipment
- Understanding and implementing sustainability and low-carbon technologies
- Site management of contractors and installations for compliance with design
- Continued Professional Development (CPD) and learning about new technologies and developments
The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical or building services engineering and will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in design in building services.
You must have experience using design software such as Relux/Dialux, Amtech and Revit. It is desirable to have a membership with CIBSE or IET and have the ambition to become Chartered.
