We are Kier, one of the UK's leading Construction and Infrastructure service, working on large scale Infrastructure projects. We are currently recruiting for a BIM Manager to drive and support the use of digital design and asset information, ensuring compliance with industry standards, Kier policy and meeting client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

In this exciting BIM Manager role, you'll work closely with the design teams to ensure that design/digital information is completed in the right format and in accordance with best practice and the BEP. You'll monitor the completion of BIM Gateway forms throughout the project lifecycle management (PLM) and support the design teams to develop accurate 3D designs in accordance with the scheme requirements. You'll also assist the design team to get the most out of the key design and be responsible for ensuring that the BIM Execution Plan has been produced and maintained for the project.

What do we need from you?

A confident and assertive individual with proven experience from a similar role ideally within a complex environment and experience of implementing BS1192:2007 & PAS1192 suite of standards and knowledge/experience of ISO19650. You'll be a strong communicator and able to build positive relationships, internally and externally and have a thorough understanding of the key design and authoring software (Microstation (essential) but also 3D Civils, Revit). A working knowledge of ProjectWise as the CDE is advantageous, as is experience of delivering Network Rail infrastructure and station projects via BIM.
