Chartered Building Surveyor required to join the growing Birmingham team of a nationwide professional services group. This is a varied role working with the surveying team on a wide range of projects, including primarily insurance work on both commercial and residential properties. The work is primarily Midlands based with work mostly around the local area.
The role will therefore be largely focused around Building inspections and surveys and defect analysis. You will provide the. relevant reports and prepare schedules of works and will be responsible for managing the relevant reinstatement works. Projects vary from smaller repairs through to substantial projects, including full rebuilds. The successful candidate must be able to undertake large project values independently using recognised contracts and working to other relevant legislation.
