Introduction:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Administrator to work within Kier Utilities on the Anglian Water Alliance. This alliance delivers a variety of work types within the Water and Water Recycling business units with one of the leading water utility companies in the UK.

The purpose of this role is to support the commercial team with admin tasks related to the function. Working from Anglian Waters head Office, this role is an integral part of the team, ensuring we are remining profitable whilst payments to subcontractors are made on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Quantity Surveyors' and Assistant QS's in receiving and validating completed work packs from remote site locations
  • Assist in validating applications for payment / invoices received from subcontractors for payment
  • Reconcile weekly payments to Subcontractors and provide support and assistance to other team members.
  • Assist in reduction of Work in Progress jobs.
  • Production of Notices of Payment for issue to Subcontractors
  • Production and notification of Contra charge invoices for issue to subcontractors
  • Production of Payment Certificates and input contract charges that are applied through Cause way system
  • Service entry on to SAP.

    • Experience of working within a team
    • Good organisational skills
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Numerate and IT literate
    • Ability to work to timetables, schedules and deadlines
    • Good telephone manner and ability to liaise with client, internal teams and supply chain
