Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (Negotiable & Depending on Experience)

Our client is looking for talented individuals to compliment an extremely successful after sales team for an elevator engineering organisation. This is a unique opportunity for a proven After Sales Technician or Service & Breakdown Engineer from the lift and escalator industry to work for a well-known company with impressive contracts with household brands, offering a product that is market leading, stability of a worldwide brand but with a smaller family run company feel.

If you are a skilled Commissioning Engineer that is looking for an exciting, varied role including service and breakdown, testing and training Engineers from the industry and working for a company that recognises talent and supports career development then this opportunity is for you!

The ideal candidate:

NVQ 3 Qualified Lift Engineer

A minimum of 5 years working as a Service & Breakdown Engineer in the lift & escalator industry, preferably with commissioning experience

Technically minded - electrically, mechanically and hydraulics

A confident, self-motivated people person for this customer facing role, able to communicate at all levels

A competent, quick thinking individual able to investigate, diagnose and advise both Engineers and customers with product and industry mastery

Experience working Nationwide or happy with a Nationwide role with occasional oversea business trips

Exposure to testing lifts or lift products / equipment

Key Responsibilities:

Servicing, Repairing, Commissioning lifts

Diagnostic and Reporting

Costing Analysis of components - modernisation's / refurbishment discussions

Testing Elevator products

Offering technical guidance and advice over the phone for Engineers and customers

Running training courses for lift & escalator Engineers form the industry
