Fabricator /Fitter
Permanent role based in Nottingham Commutable from Colwick, Bingham and surrounding areas
Interviewing immediately
Daytime hours 45 hour week
Mon - Fri 0600 - 1530
Paying up to £30K
Unlimited overtime available and paid at a premium
JOB PURPOSE
The Fitter/Fabricator will be responsible for planned maintenance and breakdown for plant and machinery ensuring minimum down time.
Responsible for the general repair and maintenance for site facilities and building services
Support in repair of all static and mobile plant on site and fabricate, weld and install new items of plant
THE MIG WELDER/FABRICATOR
Must have experience working on repairs of plant attachments Diggers and buckets
Experience MIG welding 1mm- 20mm mild steel
Previous experience fabricating a variety of parts both small and large from engineering drawings or own design.
Ability to fit in with an existing team and work on own initiative
Experience of basic fitting skills and working with conveyors would be an advantage but not essential
Apprenticeship trained in welding and fabrication desired but not essential
