Herts Resourcing Group (HRG) is working in partnership with an established Further Education College to recruit a Finance Assistant to be based at Ware in Hertfordshire. This position is for 36 hours per week and is likely to be temp to perm. The role is to record financial transactions and carry out general accounting tasks.

Duties include
*Assisting with purchase ledger and sales ledger processing
*Production Sales Invoices creation of online invoicing
*Assisting with filing and scanning of supplier invoices and relevant documentation
*Maintain Supplier and Customer details
*Month end Journals.
*Assisting with VAT Return, Balance Sheet Reconciliations,, Accruals and Fixed Asset process.

Suitable candidates will meet the following criteria:
* Have recent experience in a relevant field such as accounting or credit control.
* Have an accounting qualification
