As the UK's largest provider of Learning Support Assistants to the FE sector, Protocol is looking to expand on its success and build up a pool of LSA's in the South Shields area to cover a range of needs including but not limited to:

*ADHD
*Dyslexia
*Dyscalculia
*Dyspraxia
*Autism & Asperger's Syndrome

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to offer support to learners with additional support needs in and out of the classroom setting on a 1:1 or group basis.

We are looking for Learning Support Assistants who have direct experience of working with adults or young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities in an educational, health care or care industry setting.

Suitable candidates:

Will:
*Hold a level 2 qualification in Maths and English.
*Have knowledge and understanding of the different social, cultural and physical needs of learners.
*Be an appropriate role model of behaviour both in the classroom and around campus.
*Have previous experience with SEN learners.

Must be able to:
*Communicate effectively and appropriately with all learners.
*Assist with the organisation of the learning environment.
*Be a responsible and trustworthy role model.
*Motivate learners and promote learning.
*Have patience and a flexible approach.
*Travel between campuses if and when required.
