Our major client is looking to recruit a Mould Designer to their expanding team.
As part of the Design team, your main roles & responsibilities will be; utilising your creative skills & experience to design moulds and subsequent manufacturing engineering considerations to match the company's client bottle design expectations. Your designs will be created in 3-D using Creo and therefore you will be proficient in Creo and adhere to quality systems compliance.
You will liaise with domestic and international customers, working closely with their respective product teams to develop and realise their brief and exceed expectations. You will also collaborate with internal departments in respect of manufacturing/production engineering requirements and project managers to ensure design for manufacturing (D4M) is optimised and maximised to ensure high quality and manufacturing rates.
Candidates will possess commercial experience of mould design, ideally from a glass product OR packaging industry.
Candidates with the above experience, CREO and relevant technical/engineering qualifications are encouraged to apply.
