JOB TITLE: Electrician

SALARY BAND: £43K, plus benefits
LOCATION: Yeovil
- Electrician required to join a busy Responsive Repairs contract working on tenanted Social Housing properties. This is a customer-focused role where you'll be surrounded by a supportive team who share a commitment to delivering an excellent service. Work is scheduled by a central team to ensure a manageable travel radius and productive day. You'll be working from job tickets or a handheld device, trusted to manage your own day and workload while providing a professional service in people's homes. A strong awareness of health and safety standards and a respectful, customer-first attitude is essential in this role.
This is an ongoing role with a wide range of tasks, including fault finding and responsive electrical repairs. Daily duties may include:
- Repairing MCBs and circuit breakers
- Carrying out small electrical works
- Switch replacements
- Electrical re-certification and issuing certification for completed works
Requirements for an Electrician:
- 18th Edition
- AM2 or equivalent
- 2391/2394/2395 (desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- DBS Check (essential)

Role & Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the North West region
- Lead business development and client engagement across sectors including infrastructure, regeneration, and development
- Collaborate with technical leads and project teams to ensure high-quality delivery
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and regional performance against targets
- Represent the company with key external stakeholders, clients, and partners
- Line manage senior staff and contribute to succession planning and talent development

- Excellent people management skills with a collaborative, supportive leadership style
- Confident presenting to clients, consultants, and stakeholders at a senior level
- Understanding of current procurement processes and frameworks in the built environment
- Chartered landscape architect with extensive post-chartership experience
