We're currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join a responsive maintenance contract with a social housing provider based in Ealing.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out a wide range of carpentry repairs in both occupied and void properties.

  • Installing, repairing, or replacing doors, architraves, skirting boards, flooring, kitchen units, worktops, and other timber fixtures.
  • Responding efficiently to reactive maintenance requests and completing planned works to a high standard.
  • Using a handheld PDA device to receive job instructions, update progress, and record materials used.
  • Delivering excellent customer service to tenants and housing association representatives, maintaining a professional and respectful approach at all times.
  • Representing the company positively and adhering to health and safety standards on every job.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
  • City & Guilds or NVQ in Carpentry OR Carpenter CSCS Card (preferred)
  • Basic Criminal Record Check
  • Asbestos Awareness, UKATA or ITAP

The role of the Senior Quantity Surveyor

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a small cost management consultancy who are looking to grow their team.

As a company they cover projects all over London and the southeast of England and deliver a range of sectors including Commercial, Residential, Hotel, Retail and Life sciences. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will initially be running an office extension and fit out scheme in London and a new build Student Accommodation project.

The Senior will need to hit the ground running and will be delivering projects from concept to completion, whilst also supporting and helping to develop the Junior staff on site.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who wants to play an integral role in the growth of a company and have impressive long-term progression.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

  • BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
  • MRICS or currently working towards
  • Experience within a private practice / consultancy
  • Strong Pre and post contract knowledge

  • 1-2 years of experience in digital advertising, ad-tech, ad-ops, media operations, or a related support role
  • Familiarity with ad serving platforms, DCO technology, or campaign execution workflows is a strong plus
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Proficient in using technical platforms or software tools and willing to learn new systems

  • Monitor campaign progress and performance metrics; flag issues or opportunities to the account lead
  • Prepare and organize campaign materials such as data feeds, creative assets, reports, and documentation
  • Maintain working knowledge of the Clinch platform to provide internal guidance and troubleshoot issues
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and creative teams to support client needs and internal deliverables
  • Manage project timelines and task tracking to ensure smooth and timely campaign launches
  • Document processes, workflows, and learnings to support team knowledge and scalability
  • Prepare internal status updates, performance summaries, and training resources
  • Support continuous learning and improvement across accounts
