The Passenger Services Transport Manager vacancy is an exciting opportunity to join the Special Educational Needs passenger service and contribute to social value within our community. The service primarily consists of transporting 300 Special Educational Needs pupils to and from school. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Passenger Services Transport Manager will be responsible for the management of operations (50 vehicles including PSV and non PSV and) and will have line management responsibility for a team of supervisors and drivers. The role will be responsible for the Operator's Licence/s on which you will be named to manage compliance for all PSV vehicles and associated equipment.
You will deputise for the Operations manager in any period of absence and must ensure the service operates in compliance with all KierWSP SHEQ processes and procedures.
What?are we looking for?
- Must hold a current certificate of professional competence (CPC)
- Holder of a full EU Driving Licence for at least 2 years
- Detailed working knowledge of current Drivers Hours Regulations (EU and UK Domestic), Operator Licensing, VOSA & HSE legislation
- Strong understanding of passenger service operations and able to clearly advise others of their principles and protocols
- Understanding of the compliance requirements of PSV Vehicles and associated equipment
