We are looking for a Production Manager to join this new venture at the beginning of their journey. You will be responsible for all production on the site, managing approximately 160 staff and working closely with your colleagues in other departments including Technical/R&D and Construction. As the first in post, you will have the opportunity to set up systems and processes, manufacturing methodologies and maintenance programmes. Of course you will also be able to select your own people.

  • Experienced Production Manager (ideally from the modular building, timber frame, SIPS or light steel frame industries)
  • Qualified (or at least extensively experienced) in lean manufacturing methodologies (Six Sigma would be ideal)
  • Highly organised and with outstanding communication skills
  • Able to work to demanding targets and deadlines that are liable to change at short notice
  • Committed to the highest standards of quality and health and safety
