My client is a leading UK Construction Company with over 30 years' experience and a successful track record for delivering projects with superior quality and results from conception to completion providing a one stop shop for your business needs.
They work with the public, government and private sectors and have a multi-million-pound project portfolio.
They specialise in redevelopments, refurbishment, design and fit-out such as corporate headquarters, local authorities, NHS hospital wards, educational facilities, hotels, science laboratories, through to contemporary luxury homes.
They are looking to appoint an experienced Roofing Quantity Surveyor to work out of their office in Uxbridge.
Key Responsibilities
- You will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our roofing projects.
- You will be responsible for accurately estimating costs, managing budgets, and providing valuable insights to optimize project profitability.
- This role requires expertise in both commercial and residential roofing to effectively evaluate and assess project requirements.
- Conduct on-site visits and inspections to assess project progress and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Resolve cost discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on commercial and residential roofing projects.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
