A busy manufacturer in the Central London area is looking for a field service engineer to join their already successful maintenance team. We have just won a contract to allow us to sell our machinery/kit from Harrods. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking company and be the first one on the team. So when there is growth you will be first in line to become a manager. We manufacture refrigeration systems for pubs/restaurants and prestige clientele. This is an exciting opportunity for a field service engineer to join a well-established business. The role has come from organic growth and they are now bringing the service team in-house. We are a French-owned company and have bought out a similar business in the UK. Our turnover in the UK is circa £2.5 million, so you will be joining a very established business. The role is working Monday - Friday between 9am and 6pm and in return, they are offering a basic pay up to £28000 plus an opportunity to gain a hydrocarbon qualification (R600a). You will have to report in every morning and then attend client sites 40% of the customers are commercial and 60% private so you need to have very good customer service skills as well as your engineering skills. An experienced maintenance engineer
Refrigeration or HVAC experience
Formal qualifications or time served
Strong maintenance background
Must have an F-gas qualification
Good communication skill
Front facing customer experience
Must be based in, or within a commutable distance from London
