We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services, working on projects such as Hinkley Point C and Sellafield SRP.
We are now recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Kier Infrastructure - Major Projects Team in Sellafield.
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting Senior Quantity Surveyor role, you will support the project team in all commercial matters and liaise with Operational Teams to ensure all commercial gaps are filled. You'll liaise with the site teams in ensuring timely submissions of valuations and applications. You'll ensure cash flow is maximised and assist with internal valuations, VCR, Quarterly reviews and End Life Forecasts. You'll also ensure the accurate and timely evaluation and agreement of final quantities, additional items, rates and compensation events.
What do we need from you?
Ideally, you'll be working towards your qualification with demonstrable experience in a surveying position and worked within a commercially focused environment. You'll have previous NEC contract experience and an ability to use a range of IT packages including MS Office and bespoke packages and able to work to tight deadlines. You'll also be willing to undertake training and development when appropriate.
